Is it an Alpaca or a Llama?

One of the most asked questions we get at a show (especially from those who have never seen an alpaca) is what’s the difference?  Aren’t they the same as llamas?

Well, to be frank…no.  Think of it like this, lions vs. tigers.  Same family, similar body features, but completely different animals.
